This is an excellent target hammer kit for the Ruger 10/22 that absolutely delivers what it promises. The machining on the hammer is excellent and all necessary parts are included in this kit to do a complete trigger job. This is an inexpensive and effective method for lightening the pull of the trigger in a stock Ruger trigger assembly and making the break a more clean press. There are plenty of YouTube videos that show how to install aftermarket parts like this. A bonus of this kit is that it includes a “slave” or “sacrificial” pin that makes installing the trigger and sear way way easier than without. This is a complete kit and JWH delivers. Thank you!

I installed this in a brand new, poly trigger group. Every spring and the shims. What a terrific improvement. My trigger is much lighter without being too light. I’m hunting with this rifle and hoped for a lighter trigger, with consistent and predictable let off. That’s exactly what I got. I couldn’t be happier. Yet another excellent product from these guys.

While it did install properly, the trigger pull measured 4.5 pounds with the stock spring and 5.2 pounds with the supplied spring. It was reasonably clean but not a discernable improvement over the stock parts. In fact, I returned it to stock because it is lighter than this kit and will choose an alternative. This, while not expensive, was a waste of money.

Installed 3 hammer kits in 3 rifles and the result is nice crisp triggers between 4 and 4.5 lb. trigger pull. Before, the old triggers were spongy feeling with trigger pulls of up to 7 lbs. I am very happy with the results. Thanks……Lonnie

I need to edit my review above. The only parts from the kits that I used were the hammers, shims, trigger return springs, and washers. Hammer strut springs were not used. Very happy with the results. Thanks…..Lonnie
