Our new and redesigned The Competitor bolt takes feature of 2 of our best selling bolts and makes it into one out of this world bolt. You all have spoken and we heard you! With this amazing redesign, We removed the insert handles that was from the original version so that we can allow the use our the traditional handle so there is no need to fear losing the handle! Along with our original firing pin that was designed especially for this bolt… boom! You guys get the all in one amazing bolt! Yes, you wanted the firing pin removable, so we made the changes and now you have it all! No need to worry about not being able to change the firing pin if you needed to! This is extremely easy to install and it helps decrease lock time to prevent binding and misfires. A Beautiful example of what we offer.The Competitor bolt is CNC machined, and is drop in ready assembly that features JWH Custom Special Designed Firing Pin and Extractor installed to ensure the ultimate ignition and extraction.

I would’ve given it 5 stars but mine came without a hole on the left side of the bolt (with the firing pin forward) so I could remove the firing pin. I called and sent pics and a new one has been shipped.
The bolt performed pretty well. It did eliminate the fliers most people get with the factory bolt and produced nice one-hole shot groups. I did have a few failures to fire (3 or 4 out of 350 rounds, so not bad at all. I was able to reinsert the rounds into the mag and all but one fired. I say that was the ammo CCI 40gr round nose. Overall, I’m really impressed.

I’m updating my review since receiving the replacement bolt. This one had zero malfunctions and performed even better then the first bolt I received during it’s first range trip. Fantastic bolt and I would highly recommend it.

Great bolt. Consistent ignition of rounds and I wouldn’t put any other bolt in my Ruger 10/22
